Sick day on the couch, catching up on Adventure Time.
I feel silly petitioning my congressmen when they are already representing me so well. So, instead, I am writing thank you notes. This drawing is for my district representative, Adam Schiff (who raised a valid and troubling point that we all must consider: that this president may not be ABLE to separate fact from fiction).
Here is my daughter drawing the cover of her class coloring book. The high point of her school’s Art Day was listening to my children talk to me about their work. “I wiggle my pen when I draw eyebrows,” my daughter explained as she drew, “cuz that shows what they feel like. If I make a mistake, I make my line a little thicker. To cover it up. That helps sometimes. I color in circles so there are no lines in my colors.” Active mind. Hard at work.
