Here are the rules to play Say Anything:
1. You’ll need a roll of scotch tape.
2. Two players take turns saying one word at a time.
3. If a player pauses, stumbles, speaks gibberish, or repeats a word that has already been said, his opponent gets to put a piece of tape on his face.
4. The game ends when one player has three pieces of tape on his face.
Have fun!

The same heaven beckons through our different predilections.

I just found out that my biological father is a mountain guru who lives in the Himalayas. This is not a joke (although it certainly should be).

Every now and then, after a long quiet, my son will surprise me with some mundane or brilliant observation. “Time machines really exist,” He said most recently. Really? I asked, Tell me about that. “Well, a telescope is a time machine. And a video and an audio recorder are time machines. There are a lot of back-in-time machines. We just don’t have any forward-in-time machines yet. Do we?”
